Kieran Hayler appears in court to face rape and assault charges
Kieran Hayler, Katie Price’s former husband, has been brought to Lewes Crown Court to stand trial on three rape counts and one sexual-assault count involving a girl who was 13 in 2016.
Kieran Hayler arrived at Lewes Crown Court in East Sussex for the start of his trial on serious sexual-offence charges. He faces three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault alleged to have taken place at the former residence he shared with reality-TV star Katie Price in Dial Post, West Sussex, in 2016. The victim, who was 13 at the time and is now 23, has no familial ties to either Hayler or Price.
Sussex Police have confirmed the charges and noted the offences are said to have occurred between 1 June and 13 October 2016, with the girl receiving specialist support. Hayler’s spokesperson stated that he strongly denies the accusations and remains fully engaged with the police, hoping the judicial process will clear his name.
