Killin's TV Spot Shows Epstein Victim's Family Blaming Jeff Crank

Democratic challenger Jessica Killin aired a new commercial featuring relatives of Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre, accusing Rep. Jeff Crank of blocking the release of federal investigation files.

Jessica Killin, the Democratic candidate for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District, launched a television advertisement that features Sky Roberts, his wife Amanda, and a direct condemnation of Rep. Jeff Crank. The Roberts family, Colorado Springs residents and relatives of Virginia Giuffre—a prominent Epstein victim who died in 2025—accused Crank of refusing to meet them about a congressional effort to force the release of federal Epstein investigation files.

They had previously protested outside Crank’s district office and urged him to sign a discharge petition, which he declined, though he later voted for a resolution after Donald Trump’s urging. Killin’s statement claims Crank prioritized loyalty to Trump over his constituents and the victims. The ad adds a personal, emotional element to a race that has historically favored Republicans but is now seen as increasingly contested. The campaign is being funded by Democratic groups Women Vote and the House Majority Project, while a Trump-aligned PAC has poured nearly $2 million to defend Crank.

Why it matters

The ad ties a high-profile sexual-abuse case to a congressional race, highlighting how national scandals influence local elections.
