In stage three of the Lloyd's Tour of Britain Women, Kim Le Court of Mauritius attacked on the winding ascent to the Great Orme and crossed the line 13 seconds before Liane Lippert of Germany, with Caroline Andersson of Sweden another seven seconds back. The victory propelled Le Court into the overall lead, giving her a 26-second margin over Lippert and a 35-second gap to Lorena Wiebes of the Netherlands, who had won the opening two sprint stages.
Le Court, who previously wore the green jersey before a crash last year, emphasized staying focused.
