Kindle Vildor pushes for a roster spot with the Patriots after preseason debut

Kindle Vildor explained that a March phone call from the New England Patriots led to a reunion with head coach Mike Vrabel, a relationship he credits for the opportunity. Joining a deep cornerback group anchored by Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis, Vildor noted that Gonzalez’s injury has increased his practice repetitions. He praised the Patriots’ aggressive defense, which emphasizes man coverage and creating turnovers, and recounted a near-interception that was nullified by a penalty followed by two pass breakups in the preseason game against the Eagles.

Vildor calls himself a "crafty corner" capable of executing various techniques to fit the coaches’ plans. He said he continues to work hard in OTAs and practices to prove his value each day.
