Knife attack at Warsaw adult education centre injures three women
Around noon on Thursday, a 21-year-old female student entered the secretariat of an adult education centre in Warsaw’s Praga neighbourhood and attacked three women with a knife. The victims, aged 17, 17 and 24, suffered cuts to their forearms; the youngest was hospitalized while the other two received treatment at the scene. A school employee disarmed the attacker and surrendered her to police, who later confirmed the incident.
Investigators have not determined a motive and said the perpetrator and the victims were strangers. The attack is the third knife incident in Polish schools within a few days, after a fatal stabbing in Leszczydol‑Nowiny and a separate assault in Ostrołęka.
