Knife attack at Warsaw adult school leaves three women injured
A 21-year-old student stabbed three women in the office of an adult school in Warsaw's Praga district, injuring them with cuts to their arms.
Around noon on Thursday, a 21-year-old female student entered the secretariat of an adult education centre in Warsaw’s Praga neighbourhood and attacked three women with a knife. The victims, aged 17, 17 and 24, suffered cuts to their forearms; the youngest was hospitalized, while the other two were treated at the scene. A school employee disarmed the attacker and surrendered her to police, who later confirmed the incident.
Investigators have not determined a motive and reported that the perpetrator and the victims were strangers. This incident marks the third knife attack in Polish schools within a few days, following a fatal stabbing in Leszczydol-Nowiny and a separate assault in Ostrołęka, though officials see no link between the cases.
