Kremlin aide hints at possible Putin-Trump-Xi trilateral at next APEC gathering

During a televised interview, Kremlin official Yuri Ushakov confirmed discussions about a three-way meeting involving President Vladimir Putin, President Donald Trump and President Xi Jinping at the next Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit. He noted that all three heads of state are slated to attend the forum, which would make a joint session feasible. Ushakov made the remarks while in Bishkek, where Putin and Xi were participating in a Shanghai Cooperation Organisation gathering. The White House has not yet responded to inquiries about the proposal.
