Kremlin says it is reviewing Yandex's situation after Ukrainian data-centre attacks

The Kremlin confirmed that the government is discussing the difficulties Yandex faces after Ukraine struck three of its data centres, but said it is too early to know if users suffered losses.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said officials are examining the problems confronting Yandex following Ukrainian attacks on three of the company's data centres. He noted that the extent of any financial impact on users remains unclear. While the government is considering possible compensation mechanisms, Yandex is already taking urgent measures to mitigate the outage effects. Peskov emphasized that the firm remains strong and capable.
