Krispy Kreme revives Original Chocolate Glazed donut and unveils Halloween-themed treats
Krispy Kreme will sell its limited-time Original Chocolate Glazed donut from Oct. 20-22 and launches a new Trick or Treat! Halloween collection, including a Looney Tunes collaboration.
Starting Oct. 20, Krispy Kreme will offer its Original Chocolate Glazed doughnut for a brief three-day period, a treat that typically appears only once or twice annually. The company also rolled out a Trick or Treat! Collection on Oct. 16, comprising four Halloween-themed doughnuts with unique frostings, fillings and candy toppings.
In partnership with Warner Bros., a Looney Tunes Halloween assortment adds four character-themed pastries, each with distinct flavors and decorative sugar pieces. The new items can be bought in stores, via the Krispy Kreme app, or through delivery services, and most are available in six-packs at major retailers like Walmart, Kroger and Publix. A limited-time promotion lets customers get a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for $2 when purchasing a regular-priced dozen during two October windows. Additionally, customers wearing costumes on Oct. 30 or Halloween receive a free Original Glazed or Classic Ring without purchase.
