KTMB adds four weekend ETS trips on KL-Johor route through December

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad said it will run four supplementary ETS services on the KL Sentral-JB Sentral-KL Sentral line every weekend until 27 December, responding to growing passenger numbers. The added trains, scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, add 63,200 seats and consist of two departures from JB Sentral (7 am and 5:30 pm) and two from KL Sentral (9:05 am and 11:55 am). Ticketing opened on 7 September and as of the announcement, 46 % of the new seats have been booked.

With these services, the total weekend capacity on the corridor reaches 189,600 seats. KTMB also introduced eight EMUPlus trips from 25 to 27 September, offering 2,448 seats on routes involving Bandar Tasek Selatan, Ipoh and Klang, and urged travelers to book early via its app or website.
