LA County Sheriff Seizes $10 Million Worth of Fake Adidas and Nike Gear
Authorities raided a warehouse in Arcadia and confiscated nearly 26,000 counterfeit Adidas, Nike and other branded items valued at about $10 million.
Following an interception by federal border inspectors, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Counterfeit and Piracy Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at a commercial warehouse on the 11600 block of Goldring Road in Arcadia on Aug. 25. The operation uncovered nearly 26,000 counterfeit items—primarily Adidas and Nike shoes and Fear of God ESSENTIALS apparel—worth an estimated $10 million at retail. Investigators did not make any arrests during the raid, and the individual who owns the business has not been apprehended, leaving the case open.
Over the last year, the sheriff’s department has targeted roughly 25 sites, confiscating as much as $25 million in fake merchandise. Officials warned that counterfeit operations also produce dangerous imitations of everyday products such as laundry detergent and pet medicine. The CAPE team said it continues to monitor events where counterfeit goods are sold, including recent 2026 World Cup activities in Los Angeles.
