Lakers Insider Predicts Possible Preseason Cut of Bronny James

Insider Jovan Buha highlighted Bronny James, Jaden Hardy and Dalton Knecht as the realistic options, with a personal inclination toward cutting Knecht. Buha argued that the Lakers' guard rotation, anchored by Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves and new sixth man Collin Sexton, leaves little room for Bronny, especially after LeBron James left for Philadelphia.

The forward line is comparatively thin, giving Knecht and Hardy a better chance to contribute than the guard-focused Bronny. Buha also suggested a trade for Knecht could fetch a second-round pick, while Hardy might still earn a training-camp invite, leaving Bronny’s status uncertain but not the most likely casualty.
