Land & General shareholders endorse higher FY26 dividend and growth plans

Land & General Bhd's shareholders approved a 0.8 sen final dividend for FY26, raising the total payout to 1.0 sen per share, a 25% increase over FY25.

Land & General Bhd held its 63rd annual general meeting in Kuala Lumpur, where shareholders ratified all nine agenda items, notably a single-tier final dividend of 0.8 sen per share for FY26, bringing the year's total dividend to 1.0 sen per share—a 25% rise from the previous year. The final dividend is scheduled for payment on 16 October. The meeting also saw re-election of three directors, renewal of KPMG PLT as auditor, approval of a share buy-back, and authority to issue new shares.

Financially, the group reported a record FY26 with revenue climbing 70.6% to RM490.5 million and pre-tax profit increasing 25.6% to RM74.2 million, while Q1 FY27 showed further gains. Unbilled sales stood at RM513 million as of 30 June, supporting future earnings. The company outlined a strategic shift toward industrial park development on its Lembah Beringin landbank, targeting the first phase in FY27 and revenue recognition from FY28, while maintaining property development and education as core pillars.
