Larry Ellison Surpasses Jensen Huang to Rank Seventh on Global Billionaires List

Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison edged past Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang for the world’s seventh-richest spot after a rise in Oracle’s share price, while Huang’s net worth fell.

After Oracle shares rose 2.6% to about $151, Larry Ellison’s net worth reached $190.6 billion, allowing him to overtake Jensen Huang, whose wealth fell to $187.8 billion as Nvidia stock declined by the same percentage to roughly $218. The shift places Ellison seventh on Forbes’ real-time billionaire list, with Steve Ballmer at $156.2 billion just behind Huang and Mark Zuckerberg leading at $205.8 billion. Oracle’s stock has been climbing for three consecutive sessions, recovering from a July low near $115, while Nvidia has also rebounded, gaining 6.2% over five days after a three-month trough.

Despite the recent gain, Ellison’s wealth remains flat compared with the start of the year and down $2 billion since the end of 2025, whereas Huang’s fortune has risen more than $30 billion since that time. Nvidia’s surge is driven by strong demand for AI infrastructure and partnerships with SpaceX and SK Group.

Why it matters

The ranking shift highlights how AI-related stock movements can quickly alter the fortunes of the world’s wealthiest tech leaders.
