The Las Vegas Stadium Authority has committed $75 million of public money to a $158 million renovation aimed at easing access to Allegiant Stadium’s north entrance. The project will create an elevated walkway, pedestrian decks, a plaza and transportation upgrades, with the Las Vegas Raiders financing the remaining portion and assuming maintenance duties. Funding comes from surplus room-tax revenue, separate from the original $750 million public investment used to build the venue.
Construction is expected to begin after the Raiders’ season concludes and be completed before the 2029 Super Bowl. Authorities stressed the stadium’s importance to local tourism and its need to remain competitive as new stadiums open across the country.
