Tickets for the three-game 2026 Yankees-Mets Subway Series are on sale, with the cheapest seats at $56 and the 9/11 commemorative game starting at $121.
On Friday, Aaron Judge’s New York Yankees open a three-game Subway Series against Francisco Lindor’s Mets at Yankee Stadium, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of September 11. Last-minute tickets are being sold for all three games, with StubHub showing a floor price of $56 including fees, and the 9/11 tribute game starting at $121. MLB.com notes that pre-game honors will recognize the NYPD, FDNY, PAPD, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and Tuesday’s Promise, and former 2001 Yankees will participate, while the 2026 Yankees will lay a wreath in Monument Park.
Gates open at 5 p.m. and fans should be seated by 6:30 p.m. for the ceremonies. The Yankees currently hold an 82-62 record, four games back of the Tampa Bay Rays, whereas the Mets sit at 67-78 after a recent surge. Interim manager Andy Green emphasized the importance of playing for the fans despite the standings.
