Latin Superstars Host Miami Livestream to Aid Earthquake Victims in Venezuela and Colombia
Top Latin artists will perform a live-streamed benefit concert from Miami on Aug. 16 to raise money for people affected by recent earthquakes in Venezuela and Colombia.
A star-studded benefit concert titled “Unidos por Los Nuestros” is set for Aug. 16, streaming live from Miami’s Kaseya Center and showcasing performers such as Marc Anthony, Luis Fonsi, Chayanne, Feid, Jay Wheeler and many more. The show was first organized to support victims of the June 24 earthquakes in Venezuela, but after a deadly 7.4-magnitude quake hit western Colombia, organizers broadened the effort to aid both countries.
Proceeds from ticket sales and online donations will be overseen by the Maestro Cares Foundation and the Univision Foundation, then allocated to groups including All Hands and Hearts, CARE, Global Empowerment Mission, Techo and World Central Kitchen. The event will air on Univision, ViX, WAPA, TelevisaUnivision radio, iHeartLatino and Venevision Play, with multiple donation options available. Hosts will include Don Francisco and former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, alongside dozens of Latin TV personalities. The concert follows other music-driven relief initiatives, such as Gustavo Dudamel’s upcoming Hollywood Bowl performance for Venezuela.
