Laver Cup returns to London with Alcaraz, Zverev leading Team Europe

The O2 in London will host the ninth edition of the Laver Cup tennis competition this weekend. Team Europe, captained by former French great Yannick Noah, relies on the talents of Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev to challenge Andre Agassi’s Team World, which brings Alex de Minaur and Taylor Fritz into the lineup. Since its inception in 2017, Europe has secured five titles, yet World has captured three of the last four tournaments, including the most recent showdown in San Francisco.

The format spans three days, with each day offering three singles matches and one doubles match, and point values increase daily until a team reaches the 13-point threshold. Tickets for all five sessions are on sale, ranging from £64 for upper-level seats to £1,745 for premium hospitality packages.
