Lavitola claims bomb plot aimed to protect Sigfrido Ranucci
During a third interrogation, Valerio Lavitola reiterated that he was responsible for the bomb attack on Sigfrido Ranucci, asserting the motive was to help and protect him.
Valerio Lavitola, appearing before the judges for a third time, reaffirmed his role in the bomb attack against Sigfrido Ranucci. He maintained that the purpose of the operation was to do good for Ranucci, offering protection and urging him to take the threats against him seriously. The defence suggested that the explosion was designed to boost Ranucci's security holdings, whereas the prosecution portrays the incident as a manufactured act to elicit public sympathy.
Lavitola did not attempt to evade responsibility and spoke of a "blank mandate" given to the executors. The court session concluded without further commentary, and remarks will be restored when possible.
