LDS youth Sunday meetings to be shortened with new discussion curriculum
Starting Sept. 6, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will revamp its youth Sunday program, offering briefer meetings, a discussion-focused lesson plan and an updated “For the Strength of Youth” guide.
The church announced that youth classes will be restructured beginning Sept. 6, featuring shorter gatherings and a new curriculum centered on discussion. General President of the Young Women, Emily Belle Freeman, and Young Men President Timothy L. Farnes explained the resources in a recent podcast interview. They said the revisions aim to better equip young members to live and share the gospel while preparing for the Second Coming. The updated “For the Strength of Youth” guide will accompany the changes.
