Lead Left PAC pours over $1 million into runoff for controversial Texas candidate

Maureen Galindo, a sex therapist with a record of antisemitic comments, secured the most votes in a four-candidate primary and moved on to the Democratic runoff for Texas’ 35th Congressional District. National and local Democrats denounced her candidacy, and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee backed her opponent. Nevertheless, the political action committee Lead Left PAC invested over $1 million in ads portraying Galindo as the sole candidate who could stop Trump and ICE.
