Leanne Morgan Breaks Down Season 2 Finale and Hints at Future Seasons

Leanne Morgan clarified that Bill's tearful salon confession in the Season 2 finale signals ongoing connection, not a reunion, and said a third season remains unconfirmed.

Leanne Morgan explained that the final salon scene, where Bill (Ryan Stiles) confesses his life is miserable, is not a hint of reconciliation but a reminder of the deep, decades-long relationship that will keep him in Leanne's life. She joked that even after thirty-something years of marriage and grandchildren, Bill will remain a fixture, regardless of their romantic status. Morgan also revealed she turned down a proposal from Andrew (Tim Daly) and hopes her character stays single, while Daly is set to launch a new multi-camera sitcom on one outlet with his wife Téa Leoni.

She expressed a wish that if Netflix orders a third season, Daly could return to the show. Netflix has yet to announce a renewal, though the first season amassed more than 1 billion minutes streamed in its initial six weeks and is relatively inexpensive to produce. A decision on a third season is expected by the end of the year.
