The ministry adds that the cumulative toll since the conflict resumed on 8 October 2023 now stands at 8,953 deaths and 30,660 injuries. The National News Agency reports ongoing shelling between Mayfadoun and Zawtar al-Sharqiyah in the Nabatieh governorate, and flare-bomb drops over the Marjayoun plain toward Metula.
