LEGO launches 1,764-piece Dragon Ball Icons set featuring Shenron and young Goku
LEGO unveiled a new Dragon Ball Icons set (11390) with 1,764 pieces, recreating Shenron and child Goku, slated for early November at about 45,000 forints.
In partnership with Toei Animation, LEGO introduced its inaugural Dragon Ball Icons set, number 11390, comprising 1,764 pieces that depict the legendary moment when Shenron materialises from the seven Dragon Balls with child Goku perched on his Flying Nimbus. Designers studied classic series scenes to capture the dragon’s sinuous body, intricate scales and the iconic 2 × 2 bricks representing the Dragon Balls. The set features a detachable Goku minifigure that can be positioned in various ways, allowing fans to create personalized displays.
Builders can follow a digital 3-D building guide available in the LEGO Builder app, which lets them zoom in on details and track progress. Retailing for roughly 45,000 forints, the set is slated for a November launch, and LEGO indicated additional Dragon Ball kits are slated for release next year.
