Lenovo unveils ThinkBook Project Swan with expandable 14-to-17-inch rollable display

At IFA 2026, Lenovo revealed the ThinkBook Project Swan, a business-oriented laptop that starts as a standard 14-inch notebook but can unfold its flexible OLED panel to a 17-inch 16:9 screen. The chassis is 0.7 inches thick and weighs roughly 3.5 pounds, making it heavier than typical 14-inch models but still manageable for a 17-inch device. Powered by an Intel Lunar Lake chip, the concept aligns with Lenovo's broader rollable lineup presented at the event.

Observers noted the screen’s rolling seam, though it is not prominent during use, and raised questions about the lid’s added weight and the long-term strength of the compact hinge.
