Leonard Williams signs three-year, $90 million extension with the Seahawks

Leonard Williams, a three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle, has reached a three-year extension with the Seattle Seahawks worth $90 million, of which $56 million is guaranteed, according to a source speaking on condition of anonymity. The 32-year-old previously joined Seattle in October 2023 after the New York Giants traded him, and signed a three-year, $64.5 million contract in 2024 that would have made him a free agent in 2027.

Williams posted 22 sacks during his 2½ seasons in Seattle and was a second-team AP All-Pro last year, helping the franchise secure its second Super Bowl title. In training camp, he said the move to Seattle reignited his passion for football, especially under new coach Mike Macdonald. His career totals include 61½ sacks over 11 seasons with the Seahawks, Giants and Jets. The team has not yet issued an official announcement.
