LFI deputy Sébastien Delogu says he has repaid overdue child support

Mediapart reported that Sébastien Delogu, a member of La France Insoumise, had failed to pay the alimony for his two children since April 2025, leading to a complaint filed with the parquet de Marseille for family abandonment and child removal. In response, Delogu released a press statement saying he has taken steps to regularize the matter and has now repaid the full sum, apologizing for the impact on his children. He framed the episode as a painful episode fueled by inaccurate reports and financial strain caused by salary garnishments.

The deputy also mentioned a conflict with his ex-partner over visitation, which he said contributed to the delay. Separately, he was placed in police custody at the end of August following an altercation with officers during a flagrant investigation for insulting a public authority, with both sides filing complaints against each other.
