LG Electronics joins Nvidia's partner network as preferred AI cooling provider

LG Electronics was added to Nvidia's global partner network as a preferred supplier for power and cooling solutions in AI data centers. The designation follows a series of Nvidia validations of LG's coolant distribution units, such as a 600-kilowatt CDU, a 1-megawatt CDU, and most recently a 2.6-megawatt unit that meets the DSX platform's reference design. By joining the network, LG expects to reach a broader base of customers planning Nvidia-based AI infrastructure and to be considered early in data-center design.

The company plans to pursue large-scale AI projects, focusing on the North American market and targeting hyperscalers and colocation providers. Lee Jae-sung, head of LG's Eco Solution business, called the partnership a milestone that showcases the company's thermal-management technology for next-generation AI facilities.
