Lidl rolls out £13.49 six-setting heat pad for cold season

From October 1, Lidl will stock the SENSIPLAST Back & Neck Heat Pad in every one of its over 1,000 UK outlets. The product features a soft, washable fabric, an adjustable strap, and six heat settings that heat up quickly, with an automatic shut-off after 90 minutes. Lidl Plus members receive a 10 % discount, bringing the price down to £13.49 from the standard £14.99.

The 100-watt pad is positioned as an affordable alternative to central heating amid an upcoming four-percent rise in the energy price cap announced by Ofgem. Shoppers must collect the item in store, as home delivery is not offered, and can check availability via the online store finder. Lidl also plans to launch additional home-goods items, including a £12.99 grey rug, in the coming days.
