Life360 rolls out $7.99 scannable pet tags and new care-tracking features
Life360 introduced inexpensive QR-code pet tags and added care-log tools and Zoomies alerts to its family-safety platform.
Life360 announced a new range of pet accessories, starting with $7.99 QR-code tags that send a notification to the family’s Life360 app when someone scans the tag, even without the app installed. The tags also display the owner’s contact information. Alongside the tags, the company added care-log tools so members can record feeding, walks, medication and litter cleaning, with a weekly roundup summarising activity and top caregivers.
A "Zoomies Alerts" feature monitors short bursts of pet energy using GPS trackers. The GPS trackers, previously limited to higher-tier subscriptions, are now part of the $99-per-year Silver bundle. Both the tags and trackers can be purchased from Life360’s website and Amazon in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
