A light two-seat aircraft went down near Kontrariotissa in Pieria, and firefighters found the two occupants unconscious at the crash site.
Firefighters responded to a crash of a light single-engine plane in the Kontrariotissa area of Pieria, deploying eight crew members and four vehicles. Upon arrival they located the aircraft in a dry riverbed near the Pieria Airfield runway and discovered the two passengers without consciousness. The victims were moved to a safe spot and handed over to emergency medical services. The operation was completed shortly after the incident.
