Limerick Chamber CEO announces resignation after seven months The chief executive of Limerick Chamber has resigned seven months after stepping into the role. Donnacha Hurley has announced he will leave the organisation to return to the hospitality sector, taking up the role of General Manager at the Strand Hotel in Limerick. Mr Hurley had joined Limerick Chamber as Chief Executive in March after the previous CEO Michelle Gallagher resigned.
Donnacha Hurley said he "greatly valued the opportunity to lead Limerick Chamber" and to work with its team, board and members. "Hospitality has been an important part of my career, and the opportunity to return to the sector as General Manager of the Strand Hotel is one I am very excited to take up.
