Local Palawan town receives updated maritime map during Mana Mo celebration
The municipality of Pagasa Island in Palawan was handed a revised chart of its islands and maritime features during the Mana Mo event on September 25.
During the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month celebration, officials presented Pagasa Island with a new map detailing its component islands and surrounding features in the West Philippine Sea. The ceremony was led by Presidential Assistant for Maritime Concerns Andres Centino, alongside National Anti-Poverty Commission chair Emmanuel Pacquiao and National Maritime Council spokesperson Alexander Lopez. Representatives from the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority also took part in the handover.
