Logitech unveils G Pro X3 Superstrike mouse with faster sensor and longer battery life

Logitech introduced the G Pro X3 Superstrike gaming mouse on October 6, setting its price at $199.99 and offering it in bold pink or black. Building on the haptic-actuated click system first seen in the G Pro X2 Superstrike, the X3 adds a Hero 2 sensor with a higher DPI ceiling of 48K, faster acceleration, and a top speed of 930 IPS. Wireless performance now reaches an 8,000 Hz polling rate, previously limited to one outlet use on the X2.

Battery life improves to roughly 135 hours per charge, compared with the X2’s 90-hour estimate, and the new model is about two grams lighter in the U.S. market. Logitech will keep the X2 available at $179.99, and a temporary price drop to $129.99 for the older mouse suggests possible holiday promotions.
