London Fashion Week unveils historic homecomings and M&S’s first shoppable runway

London Fashion Week this week features Mulberry’s return under Christopher Kane, McQueen’s London debut with Seán McGirr, and M&S’s inaugural “see now, buy now” runway.

London Fashion Week runs from September 17 to 21, beginning with Paul Costelloe and ending with Burberry’s star-studded finale. This season marks several notable returns: Mulberry, absent since 2017, will present a collection designed by Christopher Kane, while Alexander McQueen, previously shown in Paris, will stage its first London show under Seán McGirr. M&S celebrates its centenary with a “see now, buy now” runway that makes every look instantly purchasable, sharing the schedule with H&M. The British Fashion Council’s NEWGEN initiative will feature both returning and debuting emerging designers alongside established names such as Simone Rocha, Erdem and Roksanda. Daniel Lee’s SS27 Burberry collection caps the week, promising a blend of heritage and contemporary flair.
