Longhaul Festival scrapped just weeks after inaugural line-up was revealed

Longhaul Festival, a country music series slated for Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, has been called off just a month after its inaugural schedule was publicised. The event, put together by TEG Live, was to be headlined by Kacey Musgraves and Kane Brown, with additional performers such as Charles Wesley Godwin, Margo Price, Maddox Batson, Ava Hall, James Barker Band and several Australian artists. A TEG representative expressed disappointment and said market conditions made the launch untimely, prompting an early cancellation to provide clarity for fans and artists.

Ticketek, the festival’s ticketing partner, will automatically refund all tickets and has advised buyers to check their email for details. The cancellation follows recent cost-cutting moves at Ticketek, including the disbanding of its country music touring division after leadership changes.
