Lőrinc Mészáros replaces entire board of Swiss holding that controls Hungarian gas pipelines
Lőrinc Mészáros has swapped out all members of the board of his Swiss company MS Energy Holding, which oversees part of Hungary’s gas network.
The Hungarian oligarch Lőrinc Mészáros removed the full supervisory board of MS Energy Holding, a Swiss-registered firm that manages a segment of the country’s gas infrastructure. The board change was carried out in Zug, Switzerland. Analysts view the move as a possible signal of concern amid the new Hungarian administration’s efforts to reclaim assets. The government has recently set up a dedicated office to pursue such recoveries.
