A Los Angeles teacher who posts under the name “HeyMissTeacher” posted a TikTok that quickly gathered more than a million views, featuring her dancing in an empty classroom while wearing a food-printed babydoll dress, purple leggings and knee-high leather boots, accompanied by Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi.” The video ignited a heated discussion on social media, with some users labeling the look inappropriate and urging schools to re-impose dress-code rules for teachers, while others praised her individuality and said the outfit posed no problem.

The teacher, who has a prosthetic eye, explained that the footage was captured while she was setting up the classroom before students arrived and that she does not wear such clothing while actually teaching. She also argued that exposing students to diverse personal styles prepares them for a varied world.
