Lotte Group boosts partner firms with early payments and export support initiatives
Lotte Group paid 949.5 billion won to more than 12,000 partners ahead of Chuseok and expanded aid programs, including a shared-growth fund and overseas brand expos.
In preparation for Chuseok, Lotte Group disbursed 949.5 billion won to more than 12,000 partner firms, delivering the funds about eight days earlier than scheduled. The early-payment effort involved 27 affiliates such as Lotte Department Store, Lotte E&C, Lotte Global Logistics and Lotte Mart. Beyond cash advances, Lotte operates a 1 trillion won Shared Growth Fund to lower loan interest for partners and introduced a Shared Payment System in 2018 that converts receivables into cash at competitive rates.
The group’s annual Lottie Brand Expo, held since 2016, has attracted over 1,600 SMEs and produced $1.2 billion in export consultation value. The 2026 edition in Madrid connected 50 Korean SMEs with 70 European buyers, discussing deals worth $33.56 million. Lotte also engaged partner-company employees with a large-scale concert featuring classical and pop performances.
