LS Electric signed a 185.3 billion-won contract with Bloom Energy to supply switchgear and transformers for a fuel-cell data centre in Pennsylvania.

The South Korean firm LS Electric Co. announced a 185.3 billion-won (US$138.7 million) deal with Bloom Energy to provide 38-kV high-voltage switchgear and distribution transformers for a fuel-cell powered data centre owned by a major U.S. tech company in Pennsylvania. The agreement lifts LS Electric’s cumulative orders from Bloom Energy past $500 million since April last year. Deliveries are slated for April to July 2027.

Why it matters

The contract underscores expanding South Korean export ties and growing U.S. demand for clean-energy data-center solutions.
