Lufthansa Group postpones resumption of Dubai services amid Middle East tensions

Lufthansa announced a delay in restarting its flights to Dubai because of the volatile situation in the Middle East, with affected passengers to be rebooked or refunded.

The airline group said it will not resume its Dubai routes as originally planned due to heightened regional instability. Both Lufthansa and its Swiss subsidiary had intended to restart service, while Eurowings also had pending flights. Passengers with bookings will receive new itineraries directly from the carriers, and refunds are offered where needed.

Why it matters

Travelers and the airline industry must adjust to shifting Middle East security risks, affecting flight schedules and passenger plans.
