Luis Díaz vows more goals and titles for Bayern Munich this season

Colombian winger Luis Díaz said he aims to increase his scoring and help Bayern Munich capture multiple trophies in the upcoming campaign.

Luis Díaz, who joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool for €75 million, delivered an outstanding debut season with 25 goals and 19 assists in the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champions League. In a recent interview, the 29-year-old Colombian expressed a clear goal: to increase his goal tally, provide more assists and add silverware to Bayern’s cabinet. He praised the club’s fans and said he looks forward to creating memorable moments with them.

After missing the first two preseason matches, Díaz quickly found the net against Aston Villa, Heidenheim and RB Leipzig, signalling a return to form. He now hopes to start the new Bundesliga campaign against VfB Stuttgart on 28 August with the same intensity. The forward’s statements underline his personal targets and Bayern’s intent to compete on all fronts.

Why it matters

Díaz’s goals and ambition could shape Bayern’s title chances and influence the club’s performance across competitions.
