MACC to Seek Charges Against Two Ex-Felda Executives Over KLVC Deal
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission will recommend prosecuting a former Felda director-general and a former Felda Investment Corporation CEO for alleged irregularities linked to the Kuala Lumpur Vertical City project.
Investigators have concluded the probe into the Kuala Lumpur Vertical City scheme, recording statements from 30 witnesses. The MACC plans to move forward with charges against the two ex-Felda officials, a senior director-general in his 60s who holds a Datuk title and the former chief executive of Felda Investment Corporation. Both were detained on September 6 as part of the inquiry. MACC chief commissioner Datuk Seri Abd Halim Aman announced the completion of the investigation.
