Madhya Pradesh Attracts ₹5,800 crore in Semiconductor Proposals, Promising 10,000 Jobs

Madhya Pradesh secured roughly ₹5,800 crore in semiconductor and technology investment proposals at an Indore summit, with the potential to create over 10,000 jobs.

At an Indore summit, Madhya Pradesh received investment proposals totaling approximately ₹5,800 crore in the semiconductor and broader technology sectors, with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav projecting the creation of more than 10,000 jobs. The largest commitments include a ₹2,000 crore electronics system design and manufacturing facility from Una Ecosystems, a ₹1,800 crore two-phase plan by Spintronics AI Semiconductors, and a ₹1,200 crore semiconductor manufacturing and chip-design project from Lalwala Industries, alongside smaller offers from Dhanush Healthcare Systems, Beyond Studios, Indusilica Semiconductors, Nanodrites Technology and Truechip Solutions.

The state also issued letters of intent for five companies, covering a ₹9,625 crore data-centre project by Cytech RE, a ₹500 crore global capability centre by Auriga IT Solutions, and other electronics manufacturing investments. On July 22, 2026, Paras Semiconductors signed an MoU for a ₹6,200 crore greenfield advanced packaging and testing facility in the Indore-Ujjain corridor. Yadav announced plans for a Semiconductor Centre of Excellence and a Centre of Excellence for Photonics and Quantum Technologies, while the Semiconductor Policy 2025 provides up to 25 % capital-expenditure incentives and other subsidies to lure further projects.

Why it matters

The influx of billions in semiconductor investment could boost Madhya Pradesh’s economy and create thousands of jobs, positioning the state as a key player in India’s tech manufacturing push.
