Malaria cases reported in Frankfurt's Schwanheim district

Earlier in the summer, two residents of the area tested positive for the disease, following an incident in which airport workers were infected. Officials have advised residents to seek medical care if they develop fever, abdominal pain or other vague symptoms that could indicate "airport malaria," and to adopt protective measures against mosquitoes.
