Malaysia Airlines to restart Jeddah and Madinah services tomorrow

Malaysia Airlines announced that flights to and from Jeddah and Madinah will resume on Oct 18 after a safety review.

Malaysia Airlines confirmed that its flights to and from Jeddah and Madinah in Saudi Arabia will be reinstated on Oct 18 after completing a thorough safety review and operational risk assessment. Travelers are asked to check their flight schedules and ensure their contact information is current using the “My Booking” feature on the airline’s website or mobile app. Customers who booked through third-party platforms or travel agents should reach out to those agents for any changes.

The carrier provides a Live Chat option and a Global Contact Centre (1 300 88 3000 domestically, +603 7843 3000 internationally) for support. The airline thanked passengers for their patience during the temporary suspension and said it will keep monitoring regional developments, prioritising passenger and crew safety.

Why it matters

Resuming the routes restores travel links for pilgrims and business travelers between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.
