Malaysia unveiled the Sumud Protocol, a framework aimed at coordinating international action for Palestinian liberation, during a summit in Kuala Lumpur.
At a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, MAPIM CEO Sani Araby Abdul Alim Araby presented the Sumud Protocol, a coordinated strategy to boost the Palestinian liberation movement. The event hosted 250 delegates representing 43 countries and featured speeches by the Prime Minister, the Selangor Menteri Besar, the Chief Secretary, the Communications Minister and one outlet CEO. The protocol outlines five action tracks—film, parliamentary initiatives, civil-society and youth mobilization, Gaza flotillas, and a Global Sumud Congress—to unify advocacy, humanitarian aid and political pressure.
The summit also adopted a resolution establishing five strategic pillars, including accountability, self-determination and global solidarity. Organisers urged all Malaysian ministries, parliamentarians and civil society to adopt the agenda.
