Malaysia lifts unsubsidised RON97, RON95 and diesel prices effective until 30 September
The Ministry of Finance announced higher retail prices for unsubsidised RON97, RON95 and diesel, while subsidised rates under BUDI schemes remain unchanged.
Unsubsidised RON97 will now sell for RM5.05 per litre and RON95 for RM4.57 per litre. Diesel without subsidy rises to RM5.42 per litre, a 15-sen increase. Under the BUDI95 programme, RON95 stays at RM1.99 per litre, and BUDI Diesel keeps diesel at RM2.10 per litre. Subsidised petrol and diesel under the SKPS and SKDS systems remain at RM2.05 and RM2.15 per litre respectively, with all rates effective through 30 September.
