Malaysia to make postal medicine delivery free nationwide from October 1

Communications minister Fahmi Fadzil said the free-mail service will roll out across the country, with the cost fully borne by the government through the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission. The announcement was made after a review of the National Digital Health Ecosystem and Connectivity Driver (Persada) project at a health clinic in Padang Besar. Officials present included Abdul Halim Hamzah and Perlis health director Dr Ghazali Chik. The scheme aims to help roughly 80,000 patients each month.
