Malaysian queen visits grieving father after fatal Kluang house fire
Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah traveled to Kluang to meet Khairul Nizam Wahid, whose wife and two sons perished in a recent house fire.
Accompanied by Che' Puan Mahkota Khaleeda Bustamam, the queen met the bereaved father in Taman Titiwangsa and offered assistance. The tragedy occurred on Sept 9, claiming the lives of his wife and two children. During the same trip, the royal party delivered aid to three other asnaf recipients in the district. The assistance was part of the queen’s charitable program for needy families in Kluang.
